The Conference is being organized as an expert platform for open dialogue and the coordination of efforts among government authorities, business community, and international institutions in the field of consumer protection. In the context of widespread trade digitalization, participants will focus on finding a balance that maintains citizens’ trust, ensures the respect for their rights amid automated decision-making, and reliably protecting the market from counterfeits. The goal of the discussions is to make consumer safety and protection an unconditional priority in the rapidly evolving e-commerce market.
The Conference will be attended by more than 200 senior officials and expert specialists representing government agencies, business community, and non-governmental organizations from the EAEU, CIS, Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America. Delegates from UN system international organizations and the executive bodies of the CIS, SCO, ASEAN, and others will also join the discussions.
